Yes, it's very normal. I had the same symptoms. It is very uncomfortable, but you can do things to help you relax. Take a warm bath, or ask your baby's father to massage your legs. Better yet, do both! :)

Omigosh, yes...I had trouble too. Try getting down on all fours on the floor and letting your belly just hang there. It should take the pressure off your sciatic nerves (what's making your legs numb) and also give your back a break. Arch your back up, and tuck your chin in, and hold for a bit. Then stick your rear up as much as you can, looking up to the ceiling and stretching your belly toward the floor. It helps a lot with back pain, sciatic pain and hip pain...

How pregnant and how often?
It could be poor circulation because you're at that point where you just don't (or can't) move around as quickly. try walking around to get the blood flowing. If it's really bothering you, call your doctor. Better to be safe than sorry. Three hours seems like a long time.

It is totally normal. I had it all the time later in my pregnancy. My legs would do some wierd things in bed at night and it drove me crazy. It is your nerves. The good thing is that after you give birth it goes away. good luck.

I think there is that possibility with all of the weight shifted upfront and down could cause a pinched nerve in the back, but if my answer isn't assuring, see your dr.

Yes it is fine. With me it was my hands, I would wake up in the middle of the night with them killing me from being so asleep. So dont worry it is normal, your doctor will tell ya the same thing.
