if you saw a kid (about 5th or 6th grade) on the green belt selling good ideas for 5cents... would you buy one?

Absolutely, kids are full of wonderful ideas. While they seem so plain and simple to many adults, they are usually just the most direct ways to solve something. I like the direct routs, let the kid get rich!

As long as the kid does not offer a guarantee (since he/she is a minor, one legally cannot !) that the same ideas will not be sold to others as well, of what use could, or would, the ideas really be ?!
:-))
...No, thanks !
