People at my school (including my friends) are used to seeing me as a kinda nerdy basket-case! Over the summer my sister got me into skating, and HIM (the band), and gothic stores like Spencers, and Hot Topic. I don't know how my peers are going to react to this particular situation. please help!

As hard as it is, you have to be comfortable with yourself. When you go through a big change, people notice and will talk. Just hold your head high, and expect a lot of different glances and questions, and knowing kids, some talking behind your back.
