neck and back strains can take up to three months to heal. What you need to understand is that while chiropractic therapy is helpful, once you leave the office you should not go about your daily activities. you need to go home and rest no heavy lifting, bending, stooping, pulling at this time. If you continue as normal, you are not allowing the strained muscles to heal.

At 6-8 weeks you should not have to see him more than once or twice a week.. if it is more frequent than that, you may want to make a change.. He is not doing something right and the pain should be much reduced.. The soft tissue injury is what takes a bit of time to heal.but, in 2 months there should be dramatic improvement.

Alot of people don't realize that after an adjustment from one side to the other if after both you feel a pinch or even a little bit of pain you need another crack tell your doc so he can go back real quick--the second time I went to my chiro. he cracked me on my left than right and I felt something back on my left side so I just pointed and he did it again and got a whole nother set of pops, then I felt like a new person--Some times it is like that. But Chiropractors are more of a Doc than pill pushers to me. Did you know they can fix a runny nose and even sleep deprivation. They can be life savers.

Depends on the chiropractor. I've been to good ones and bad ones, (had a bad football related back injury in high school) and the first one wasn't any good, but the next one did wonders. I guess it's like any doctors, there are good and bad ones.
