I went and saw my gyno last Monday concerned about a possible ovarian cyst...I have not gotten the results but she did an ultrasound down there and the girl who did it said it looked like one...ANYWAY. My boyfriend and I were having sex last night and when we were done I went to pee and I was bleeding..At first I thought it was my period (it's coming in the next few days) but ever since whenever I pee it's normal....I am having cramps but no bleeding...Does anyone know what the hell is going on? I am scared=/ Was it the cyst bursting or something? Is it serious? I don't know what to do....I am not a virgin or anything like that, me and this guy have been together about a year...And have had "rougher" sex in the past....god i know it sounds so sick I am just so scared.....

ONE TIME I WENT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM BECAUSE MY RIGHT LOWER SIDE WAS HURTING SO BAD WELL THEY DID AN ULTRASOUND AND SAID I HAD A CYST ON MY LEFT SIDE THEY COULD NT EVEN SEE MY OVARY BECAUSE THE CYST WAS SO BIG. THEY SAID I HAD A CYST ON MY RIGHT SIDE BUT IT HAD BURST WHICH WAS VERY PAINFUL SO NOW I'M ON MEDICATION FOR MY CYST ON MY LEFT SIDE. WHEN THE CYST HAD BURST I DID NT SEE OR FEEL ANY LIQUID BUT YOU SEE I HAD A PARTIAL HYSTERECTOMY. I WOULDNT WORRY ABOUT IT TO MUCH UNTIL YOU GET THE RESULTS THERE IS NO SENCE IN GETTING GRAY HAIRS BEFORE YOUR TIME. I HOPE EVERYTHING TURNS OUT WONDERFUL FOR YOU..........................

The cysts burst probably. I know a friend once after sex started hurting real bad went to the ER and they told her a cysts had busted and she bleed just a little and was sent home. I have had them before in the pass and they burst and that's it. If you aren't bleeding bad or anything you should be fine. Sometimes people have them and don't even know it.Just call your doctor and tell them what happened.
Don't be scared....It's a common thing and when they burst it's good cause it means it's gone. Like a bump on your face or something. Mom had on once and done the ultrasound and on the way home hers busted and they didn't tell her to come back to the doctor OR the hospital. You will be OK just as long as you don't start bleeding real heavy or anything. If so just go to the ER

It could be related to the cyst, but you shouldn't be scared. A cyst is often just a sac of fluid that didn't burst when you ovulated. Sometimes there can be blood vessels in the area too. Sex can cause the cyst to rupture or even just bleed a bit. This has been happening to me for years now, almost every month.

I think you should talk to your gyno about it at your next appointment and see if he/she agrees. (if you don't have another appointment you should probably make one). There can be lots of other reasons for bleeding after intercourse and this should be checked out too, as some of these can need attention. But don't worry about your cysts, most women of reproductive age will have at least one or two in their lifetime and they cause no trouble at all.

Pay awareness to what a aspect of your cycle you're in. If it's approximately halfway among your intervals, you might quite simply be ovulating (whilst an egg is published from your ovary). Some women don't have any pain whilst ovulating, while others revel in the style of anguish you describe and must take Advil or something identical. The anguish on the whole lasts only one or 2 days. So for those who occur to've had this pain earlier than, probably a month in the past, and the soreness lasted easiest a pair days, it would quite simply be ovulation. If the affliction keeps for for for much longer than a pair days, cross to the medical institution. Burst ovaries can be harmful.
