Many months ago my friend started communicating with a girl on localhookupz. He ended up getting her in touch with me, and he continued talking to her. I've spoken to her on the phone several times. Anyway, she lives about 45 min. to an hr away from me, and she wants to meet up with me while she's with her friends near her house on Tuesday. I wanted her to come to me, but every time we make plans one of us or both of us end up screwing them up. From what I can tell she's a kind hearted person, and I'd like to meet people, but I'm not sure if going all the way over there would make sense for me.

No you should not. You should NEVER meet anyone from the internet alone. It's just too dangerous, regardless of your (or their) gender.

Then you both should meet half way. Pick a place half way between the two of you. She can bring a friend/s for safety, and you should too. But you must both agree on all terms of this meeting.

I cant see why u shouldn't meet her, just go on and it would be better if u take a friend of ur with u, u know just in case. My man an opportunity ignored is an opportunity wasted.

I can't believe that you're gonna let distance get in the way! We have soldiers overseas who have family *here*! Understand?
