Some women get "lucky" and can accurately predict when they are at risk and when they're not. If you don't want a baby now, then don't ever think there's a "safe" time to have unprotected sex. If you're only with one trusted partner, both faithful, etc. etc., then I would suggest something like a diaphragm? It's my preferred method, and when used properly about the same efficacy as the pill. Once you're used to it, it really is one of the best non hormonal ways to go.

No. If you have regular menstruation, then 4-5 days after menses stop, are safe and another 7-8 days before the beginning of next
period are also safe for sex.But avoid unprotected sex as it may
lead to sexually transmitted diseases..

yeah...it's not definate that you'll get pregnant, but you are at risk. always use protection!! (unless you're trying to get pregnant) but they have pills now that you can take like 2 days after you had sex to prevent you from having a baby and it's not an abortion. you can always look into that stuff. i think it's like "plan b" or something

Seven days before and seven days after menstruation. They call it the rythm method. If your period comes regularly, otherwise, it is better to have pills or your mate using a condom.

Yes but use a condom if you don't want to get pregnant. Please don't be like so many others and have sex all day and night, then get pregnant, and log onto YAHOO! answers and ask is it safe to have an abortion. Be safe!
