I have housing which I can screw the light bulb into, and on both sides of the housing there are polarized plug-ins; but my problem is I can't figure out how to get a power source going. Can someone steer me in the right direction? Thanks.

There's three ways: you can get by with some battery operated lantern, you can use a socket adapter, and a two prong extension cord to power another light from your existing lighting circuit, or you can do some wiring and install a proper ceiling light in the closet. This may be quite easy to do if there is an unfinished attic above the closet.

Assuming that you know how to do wiring it is really quite simple, you would need to run wiring from your circut breaker to the closet, then install an on/off swicth then up to the closet ceiling to the light fixture, If you are not framiliar with electricity dont do it by yourself, get someone who understands electrical current, A C

Good luck
