Saw it and liked most of it; Glad that Mann shot it the way he did, gritty and hard with very little color; some of the storyline was a bit hard to follow if you didn't listen closely to all that was being "said"; loved Colin and his sexy dance and bed scene; made me want to learn the Samba...Jamie Fox I heard wasn't around as much as he could have because he left during some crucial filming because of violence in some of the countries where the film was shot; There was no "repartee" between Farrell and Fox, except for fleeting moments; loved that Colin's accent was primarily "right on American English", then slipped to the Irish brogue, then British; but I found that charming; good action, wish there were more boat racing and crashing, but, oh well...I give it a B+

I loved it. My husband put "going to the movies" on our errand list like it was a really important thing and I was surprised that we saw Miami Vice. I LOVED the movie, despite the violence and brutality. I knew it was "Miami," so I knew it would and should be gritty. It was satisfying in every way. It had a lot of passion, love and sex in it... those are my things. It was hard to understand the lingo and what the heck most people were saying through the movie and I had to keep going "WHA?!" but that is okay. I got the general jist and I could actually see it again. Very good film. Go see it. You will not regret it.

It's purposely shot that way, Mann wants to give the film a gritty look. The movie was alright. It drags a lot, which I was surprised by because Mann's films never drag, but the action is great. It is a very realistic film, not a typical Hollywood action film, very different from the series as well.

It was ok, but not the best. It could have been better and I miss the beaches and pastel colors. Seemed like an extended version of a TV show made for the new generation. Would be better with longer car scenes.

It was shot in a very grainy, "gritty" style = hard to see. This movie should never have been made, since it neither came up to the level of the TV show, nor surpassed it. Colin Farrell looked as bored as I felt during the whole thing.

I was disappointed. Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrel had NO chemistry. I didn't see that they were partners. They seemed more like two guys who were tackling their first case. Gong Li was terrible in the movie. The two shootouts were great. If you go see it save your money and go to the matinee.

Wade himself suggested that the guy on the team is Lebron James and that he had to take a back seat to him for the appropriate interest of the team. It grew to become into the appropriate subject to do for the team and the only reason is that Lebron carried this team extremely the final 2 years in stretches and the 1st year there grew to become into no continuity or hierchy and as we see the warmth had it appropriate 2 years as of however the previous 2 years as Lebron being the chief and Wade kinda being the emotional chief. i like to think of of them as co-chief in spite of the shown fact that it quite is clean who the main helpful guy or woman to the warmth is nice now. Wade might desire to be the poster action picture star of this team yet Lebron is the main helpful and it quite is not even close.

i just saw it and thought it was ok. there were a lot of sex scenes that could have been cut out. there were a lot of really nice cars and good action scenes in it though. they used some cool filming techniques and there are scenes that are grainy for different effects.
