I was mad at her for smoking the generic cigarettes, I dont understandy why she did it, but she promised today never generic, only premium from now on. I hugged her and told her i wasnt going to punish her any further

Ok, if your daughter is young enough to be grounded, surely she's too young to be smoking full stop. Generic or premium, they are both deadly. Put your foot down and don't be so soft. Put a stop to her smoking anything.

you could tell her she isnt punished and your there to help her just make it clear that that is strike 1 in strike 2-3 there will be serious consequences but try having a conversation on what to do to help her the most likely reason why she did it might be stress try negotiating with her make it clear that you dont support that type of behavior

no lady you should have grounded her for smoking period!!!! what a terrrible mother, unless she is 18 you are her boss, which means if you dont want her to smoke you make sure she doesnt by any means!!!
