Go to University. Thats my first step of achieving my goal that is somewhat similar to yours. You will be able to start off at a respected company, and grow from there. Also, having the knowledge learned in University, you will be able to reduce risks.

Desire and action are two seperate things. You know what you want, and I think you know what needs to be done.

Dreaming about being sucessful in business is one thing. Going to work on a friday night and getting up early saturday morning to start all over again is another.

Discipline in managment of your finances means viewing money as a tool, not a means to afford cool things that will get you attention. The ablity to look at your income and identify a portion of that income you want to set asside for investments, retirements and not how much you can afford as a monthly payment on your Best Buy card is dicipline. Watching your friends buy new mustangs and staring at a bank/ionvestment account with 10-20-30K in it while still driving your civic is discipline.

None of these things will happen unless you educate your self and apply what you learn. This does not mean college or the marine corp but an effort on your part to do so.

You got the goal now start. Instead of logging on to Myspace or Youtube, type in a subject like stock investments, starting my own business, options trading and read up on that subject till you feel like you have a working knowledge. Then test that knowledge by following the market, scratch out some ideas for a business. Say you want to open a shoe store. Go sit at the mall for 12 hours and watch a shoe store in action. Count the customers, count the employees, watch how many sales are actually made. IT CAN BE DONE, but how many people are going to do it?

If you really want take your life seriously in business, management, and discipline. I highly recommend you to enlist with the Army or Marine Corps. I am not a recruiter but I am a soldier and I enlisted because I wanted to be a better manager and better disciplined. I now have it and I command respect from everyone in my life. No pain no gain I have to go through the hardship to reap the fruits of my labor. It will be worth it and go think about it. Good Luck!
