NO, we will not self-destruct. One Day, we will do what we were supposed to do earlier, go out and Populate the UNIVERSE.

I think SOME humans will leave Earth and live on other planets, but not all of them. I do not think we will self destruct, humans are very resilient, I believe we will be here a long time.

My money is on self destruction! Maybe a few astronauts will be in space exploring at that time, but other than that the majority of people will be destructed!

Well, if evil will be allowed to thrive, and people who are criminal in the name of religion allowed to kill other people for no reason, then we will self destruct because there is news everywhere as to how many nuclear bombs are being built by US, CHINA, KOREA, PAKISTAN, MIDDLE EAST, IRAN etc.
Other countries have to do the same in defence. But what is the point? I thought people had learnt enough from Hiroshima but it seems human beings can only destroy. They do not want to be held responsible for criminal activities.

When you say "leave earth" do you mean a mass exodus? As in, "everybody out of the pool!?" I doubt that.
But humans will venture into deep space as soon as we figure out how to stop killing each other here on earth.
If we figure that out (and I'm optimistic) we'll "colonize" the area of space closest to our planet.
We'll never completely abandon earth though.

The Bible says that humans who refuse to obey God and love others will be torn from the earth, but the meek will inherit the earth and live forever upon it in peace and happiness.

Let us hope we live long enough for our leaving the mess we made out of this planet. maybe it will have a chance to recover.It is possible but the time frame for doing so is getting shorter with each passing religious or financial war.
