thats a bit oddly worded but in general any sex can cause the transmission of any STD. The common THEORY of why STD's are more easily transfered via anal sex is because of the amount of stretching involved causes more tissue tears which causes more opening for STD's to get in and more release of bodily fluids. But yes gay sex does cause spread of aids more so if unprotected, but so does all types of sex. Good luck and be safe.

UNPROTECTED sex causes the transmission of sexual disease. Any sex, any sexual disease.
AIDS is just one such disease. It happened to start in the gay population in the US, but it now in the heterosexual population all over the world. In Africa it is mostly heterosexuals that are infected with the virus. HIV is the early stages of AIDS.
The best way to avoid getting a sexually transmitted disease is to wear a condom. Anything else is just opinion and propaganda.
