It depends what kind of music.
Their version of Elvis Presley is a guy called Johnny Hallyday, he is a huge artisit there.
The french also love old music after war, like Edith Piaff. These are some of their favs.
Modern ones you have MC Solar, pretty cool music, mix rap with r &b and etnic rythms. Look for Pascal Obispo as well.
they also love Manu Chau (europena Artist, he is french, spanish with algerian origins), his music is a kind of ska.
Then you also have the same as in US like Mariah Carey , and the rest.
I can't remember more for now.
