why do people have sex on the camera for money? what are the main reasons, i know for money but don't you think it is degrading?

It is a sad time when we ( the youth and future generations) cannot control our reproductive instincts and urges, we have however enough control to not let them run wild (unfortunatly not everyone has that control) and rather use porn to satisfy those needs. Porn stars and Porn site managers are like any other workers, it's a dirty job but someone has to do it. For example is being a porn star more degrading than helping the wounded on a battle field, all the while being covered in blood and mud? Or cleaning sewers?

The "main" reason is money. The alternative reasons that might lead a person to become a porn star or just act in porn is because there is a self motivation to join the force. The matter of fact answer to your question is people "choses" whether to join porn or not. Some regret some have a great life with it. It just goes on and on.
You may think its degrading but look at them they look great and they are really happy that they are selling themselves.

its kind of like getting into a group of friends in high school and pretty soon you have a rep and it is very hard to get away from that group unless you change schools, and start over so to speak.
In that environment, they usually start out as strippers or some such and probably drugs and are desperate to get money so they think just once I will do this and then the downward spiral starts and it is very difficult to get out, many people are caught on the fence and dont make the decision to just go all out and enbrace the life or get the hell out, take a normal job because they cant afford to take a huge pay cut. The only person that has really embraced it and has made millions is the blond chick that is actually smart, and has a multi-million dollar bus with just appearances now. Dont follow porn but anyway.

Sex is a natural act between consenting adults. As far as I know, they are all consenting adults.
They are getting paid good money to do what they love doing. I don't think it's degrading at all. Those people made the choice to go into the porn business. If they thought it was degrading, I don't think they would do it.

I wouldnt be an actor, but I would certainly direct or have some other part in it if given the chance, blatantly because there is a lot of money in it.

It's pretty much the easiest way to make money.
All you really have to do is look good naked, and the camera will do the rest.
