I have to say that killing is not the answer. If someone were to kill her, then her family should have the right to charge her executioner with murder, and have him executed, etc etc etc ad infinitum. However, I do feel that putting her in a mental institution is a little light, considering the gravity of her crimes.
I think locking her up in jail for life would be sufficient. No one else gets killed, and she is in a place where she can't hurt anyone else. Perhaps give her some productive work to do, so she can earn her room and board, and ease the burden on taxpayers...

I wouldn't. Nobody could know what postpartum depression is like unless you lived it...I , thankfully, have not. However....the signs that she was in trouble were there long before she harmed her children. Those who saw this and did nothing are the real people to blame. Any mother who could kill her own children obviously has some major, major mental/emotional problems. If she ever "comes out of it", the horrific memories of what she has done will haunt her forever, if she can even bring herself to live with it at all, and that's punishment enough, IMO.

I would not kill her. I believe she really was mentally ill. She will have to live the rest of her life with what she has done. Now if you ask what I would do to that rat of a husband of hers........

How do you not be "insane" BEFORE you have children, but yet you are AFTER you have them....no, I don't believe she was insane. Those kids were in her way for some reason so she chose to make them suffer. She admitted it.
She deserves the death penalty, lethal, hanging, shoot her-something.....
