Once, playing paper football in the high school cafeteria, I flicked one over the crossbar that just kept carrying till it sailed off Betty Brukowski's nose and landed in Cheryl Zotweiler's parsley potatoes. It must've travelled a good 30 feet or so (not wind-aided). Apparently, it's still a school record.

In regular football, fooling around, I only nailed one or two from about 30 yeards --pretty bad.

Hey, those who mentioned Jason Elam should recall that he tied an old record of Tom Dempsey's.

We were playing football onboard a plane to Tokyo. While flying about 600 miles an hour I kicked a field goal that went 30 miles in the time it was in the air. That has to be some kind of a record, don't ya think?

I held the ball for 17 years old that kicked 8 out of 10 at 75 yards.
He said he could always do better in practice. His longest 48y in a game.
At 18 he plays professional soccer.

No, with the aid of fact if i'm a NFL coach, and my kicker can no longer robotically hit a 40 yarder, i do no longer decide for him. 40 yards fairly isn't that astonishing interior the NFL anymore, fairly, its the different, its ordinary. Even a 50 yarder is growing to be to be further and further regularly occurring with some kickers getting steadily nearer to 60 for all time. extra to the element, it fairly defeats the objective of the sport, the belief is to pass forward, continually attempting to get extra factors. There are diffused techniques to the sport that make it relaxing, a thank you to pass up via 4, ought to you opt for for 2, etc, etc.

there was a rookie kicker for the Denver Broncos a few years back that kicked one from like 65-70 yards. It was a preseason game so no one really cared but it was pretty cool.

Hahaha...I play football, but I'm not a kicker. I make probably half of my extra points when my friends and I are just messing around. However, one time, I booted one from 35 yards out and I thought I was the man.
