Jill,
I took a quick look at your other questions & I'm not what u are going through. It sounds like hopelessness, helplessness & loniness, with a touch of what is my purpose. I know that I thought of suicide & hurting myself drugs were a major part of my life. U might check out a 12 Step Program (Emotions or Narcotics Anonyoums).
I found for me that 12 Steps was part of the answer for me, but, that Jesus Christ was The Answer. I didn't know all the questions I was or still am asking but I have learned that being in His presence is the only answer.
I found that the only purpose I have is to be with Him. He doesn't put all the demands that religion put on me. He said that He would allow me rest from demands if I would just come to Him. I get tired of living & want to die but I have found that He will speak through me which gives me something to live for.
I have also found it comforting to be able to ask Him to show Himself to me & He does. He does it in many different ways; sometimes it just the way nature looks, a song (even the Rolling Stones) or the phone call or someone coming over saying the right thing. It is usaully during those times when it seems that no one or thing can touch me emotionally.
Ask & see what happens!

Of course u should go on living. Y do U feel this way? Perhaps U R depressed and that's n illness which can b treated. Talk 2 someone -suicide hot line - or see your doctor.
Dying is often giving in and it is final - u cannot change it. U can however change the situation u r in at the moment. Don't give up - find out the purpose of your life. Things seem to be at your lowest - they will improve even though you cannot see the light at the end of the dark tunnel u r in.
I am saying a special prayer 4 u that u find your way out of the pain u r in and that u will find happiness and fulfilment

Jill, what do you need help with, specifically? Yes, you should go on living. Jill, life is hard, but good and rewarding in the end. Disappointment and hurt from others can cause great pain, but it's only for a little while and then life continues, it gets better and then you go something else that's challenging. It's worth it though. Your emotional pain is causing you to question whether you should continue in your life. Read Psalms 27 for strength. Did you know that David, the guy who is thought to be the main writer of Psalms went through much pain in his life? But still, he became a King and is described as being a man after God's own heart. Jill, it's about who you are going to become while walking through the experiences of your life. Allow your life to continue, so that you can see what God has in store for you. My prayers are for you. I will ask the Father to send you someone to help you find Him b/c He already knows who you are. Let Psalms 27 remind you that God, your Father, loves you more than you could ever know. He love you so much that He sent his only Son to die for you, so that you could experience a better life, and an everlasting life...if you will believe in Him and commit to building a relationship with Him...Jesus Christ.

I tried to kill myself when I was 13 and all it did was put me in the nut ward for a while and now I am 23 and I am so glad that I didn't die that nite and I now have 4 beautiful kids and i am in college to help kids and life is worth more than any problems that may come up

Yes, you should. Even if you don't want to. I've been there, but guess what? If I kill myself, I believe I'd go to hell. And hell aint' no party hardy haven, it's worse than the most evil point of life on this earth. "He who endures to the end shall be saved." That's what my LORD and Saviour says, and I believe Him. So I just keep enduring. And I've managed (somehow!) to survive each crisis - it can only be by the grace of God that I'm not dead. Life can really suck at times - I know - and sometimes we wish we had never been born. But we were born, so here we are. Do something radical - tell God what's bothering you (this is not a pat, patronizing answer) and ask Him to send you some help that is REAL HELP. Not only to mend your circumstances, but also to heal your broken heart and to give you hope. I like what King David prayed: "Show me a token for good." I pluralize this: God show me tokens for good." Everytime I've prayed that, He has shown me tokens for good, given me hope, made something good happen. I hope you will pray that simple prayer. It's short, sweet, and most of all sincere. And He will answer you, I promise. If you ever need to talk, you can e-mail me: mashiah48901@yahoo.com It really helps to talk - cuz then the problem gets smaller. I'm here if you need somebody to talk to. God bless you.

Life at times can be frustrating not to mention a grind, but i have found things like my hobbies and my family are the thing that keeps things going for me. You have to be strong in the head and heart in this life because some can be so mean on so many levels. But suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. I try to think about things i enjoy when i get sad or angry, like fishing or the new ps3 that's coming out, so be strong life sometimes can seem crushing but keep your head to the grindstone and you will be fine. If you need a friend to talk to i love to chat.

Go on living, discover the meaning of life. Do good things. See the world turn positive as every action you take helps some one else. The power to do good and to love sustains life. Use it. Maybe one day you would say the same thing to some one else.

Of course you should go on living. I can't help you unless you state why you are feeling this way? Is it something specific? Sometimes people just have a chemical imbalance in their brains which is not their fault, and this causes them to be depressed. Do you think this could be happening to you?

I firmly believe that every life is capable of being redeemed while it is still being lived.
Whatever problems have you thinking of ending it all can probably be dealt with.
A better tomorrow is all that can convince you, in the end, that it was worth the effort.
Taking the drastic but easy way out just ensures that you will never know.
Good luck. God bless.
