A question about a song I once heard in a club... it was a remix for "Runnin Down a Dream"...?

Hi ladies and gents,

I went to a club back in January and I heard a song that I absolutely can NOT get out of my mind. It was "Runnin Down a Dream" and I believe Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers was singing it (atleast it sounded like them) but it was a HOUSE/DANCE song... like a remix to the original. I would really appreciate it if somebody could tell me who did the remix and any other info so I can track this song down. Thnx!

There is no remix of the song out, I am sure, so i think the dj did it himself or a friend of his did it, they always do that to get the idea how ppl are going to react to it, and then they release it (if the producer give them the rights)
Trust me there is no remixed version out legally ;)

A lot of songs can mix songs like these. You should go to that club and ask the DJ what it was.Tom Petty did the original .
