Some women's sexual desire increases and some decrease. Every pregnancy is different. Being pregnant with each of my kids....was a rollercoaster. With my daughter my desire was off the scales. My husband actually grounded me from attacking him - lol. With my sons, I could take it or leave it. I think my husband was glad for the break.

This is different for different women. Generally it is said that sexual desire decreases during the 1st trimester & then increases during the 2nd & 3rd trimesters. Some women's sex drives are almost nonexistent throughout the entire pregnancy for various reasons (nausea, fatigue, feeling unattractive, etc.). And some women's sex drives are not affected at all! Good luck with your pregnancy. :)

You aren't bothering me. I enjoy talking about motherhood and parenting. I am gladf you asked. Each pregnancy is different. During mine I experienced great sexual desire that was insatiable. Many people say sex is better while you're pregnant too. I was unaware that I had concieved so this is not psychological. When you get in the third trimester sex may be uncomfy, difficult and prrhaps painful. Enjoy it now though You can't get more pregnant by sex and it is healthy for you, your baby and your partner.

The first three months you are so tired, your desire tends to go down. By the fourth month, things are calming down, and even though you are getting a big tummy, for some reason, you get a very HIGH sex drive. I was a horny FREAK from 4-7 months...hubby was happy. Then as you get really big and tired, and unable to sleep well in your 8th and 9th month, sex is not so desirable... this was my experience, anyway, for four pregnancies.

With my first child, it increased, however with my second and third it decreased. Probably because I was already tired from taking care of kids. I would be interested to know how far along you are.
Never mind...I just went back and looked at another question you had. You will find that you'll have to *ahem* change positions as time goes along. Baby will get in the way.

For a lot of women the first trimester is totally exhausting and the thought of sex makes them even more tired. For most of those women, but not all, the 2nd trimester their sexual desire comes back big time, and for some it tapers off again in the 3rd trimester, when they are getting bigger and tired again.

IFor me it decreased in the first few months because of the nausea. Then it increased slowly until it became uncomforable. At the very end it was very high, i had heard that org--m came make the baby get out sooner.

I think it varies from person to person. I had been interested in sexual activities (even the slightest touch maje me go insane) during my pregnancy.
