I'm neither happy nor sad about it. I think Abreu is an excellent major league baseball player. On an average season he gives you about a .280 average 30 home runs and 100 runs batted in. However, I don't think the Yankees neccesarily needed him. Matsui and Sheffield are set to come back in about a month, and Cabrera, Guiel, and Williams have been doing the job filling in for those guys. Even without Matsui and Sheffield, the Yankees are still loaded...
