I have been on the Depo birth control shot for over three months. It expired on 7-26-06, Last Friday. On 7-29-06 I had sex with my boyfriend without a condom. He said he is possitive that he didnt c*um while we were having sex. I trust him, he wouldnt lie about that. Yesterday I was stressed out, and my stomach hurt, though I didnt feel like I was going to throw up. I also had spotting. I thought I started my peirod, but After taking the Depo shot, I bled for the last month . Also today, while me and my boyfriend were fooling around, I started spotting again. Keep in mind, I just started Depo for the first time, and this could just be after effects of my body adjusting. But those are the only signs of pregnancy I have, Is spotting. Can you please give me your advice from experience? Or if you know any other early symptoms of pregnancy. Im really in touch with my body, so I believe I would know If i was pregnant. So It could all just be in my head.. please help

Well unfortunatley, im about 70 percent shure that you are not pregnant, and ofr the record, even if you love someone , when it comes to sex, it don tmatter u need to rap it up! Or just don't have sex in the first place, wait till ur married. But yes, Spotting is normal after a " depo" Shot. " my moms a nurse, dont worry i didn't tell her about it just listened collectively", depo shots are good and bad and they cause an irregular period and sometimes dicharges and irregular periods. Spotting is normal, it takes a while though to get back on to the track after a few of those depo shots though. WOo this is what 9 years of hearing her talk about nursing does lol

Whether your pregnant or not well only time will tell. What really gets me is why in the 21st century, a 15 year old girl would be worried about that by getting involved at such a young age.
Nobody is perfect, still, there are so many positive things to do rather than having sex. That's expected in very poor countries where girls your age have no future, but here in the USA?
What a waste of potential, unfortunately you're not alone.
I hope and pray you will honor your body in the future and not give it away like it was nothing. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, please remember that.

More likely than not...you are not pregnant. The depo does not automatically "expire" on a certain date. They prefer that you have a shot every 12 weeks to be certain that you won't get pregnant but that does not mean that it expired. To find out if you are pregnant you should go to the doctor. Also...spotting is not usually a symptom of pregnancy unless there is something wrong.

Your 'really in touch with your body'...lol...well atleast someone with a wenis is...otherwise you wouldnt be freaking out about now. My sister got pregnant skipping school when she was 16 and he "didn't *um" in her eiither. S*iht happens...it doesnt matter how honest your mate is with you...it won't change nature...i.e. pregnacy...or umm a Disease. You are way to young and cute to be knocked up at 15...cause you aint gonna have an abortion at your age without your whole family knowing first. Maybe in the old days but not anymo. You may have gotten lucky...but a pregnancy test is the only way to be certain. For the future...remember use a condom too. If a guy tells you he doesn't want to kick him to the curb...all that means is that he is too imbarassed to go into a store and buy his own...and if he can buy a condom...he can't afford to raise your baby.

It's too early for a pregnancy test.
The spotting and all that is not going to happen this quickly...of course, that doesn't mean you're not pregnant...but this stuff is probably in your head cuz you're nervous. You would not have any pregnancy symptoms within a couple days. Plus, just because your depo shot expired on the 26th...there is a safety net, it doesn't just stop working one day.

As you are in touch with your body, please consider this: Depo-Provera shots can cause an irreversible decrease in bone mass. You are also at increased risk of breast cancer, cervical cancer, bloodclots and infertility. Hopefully you're not and will not become pregnant anytime in the near future; babies conceived while on Depo are often subjected to fetal defects, miscarriage or infant mortality.
Get off the Depo. Take care of your body. Save it for your husband. Find another hobby.

I don't think you should worry if you were on the shot. I took the shot for about a year and then I quit. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex almost everyday and I didn't get pregnant until two years later.

I had the same experience a long time ago. The best thing to do is get a pregnancy test and confirm it with your doctor. I was not pregnant though and since took great precautions untill I was ready to concieve.

well i know from experience that if you think you are pregnant and you have that in your head and that's all you think about your body gets stressed out and your brain makes you believe that you really are pregnant.... well the only way you can find out cause even over the counter tests are not that accurate is to take a blood test or an ultra sound...
