i need to buy about 15 records for a party as decorations. The guests would have their pics and stuff on them but all of the records i know of to get are $30+. Perferably gold. And if no one knows of any places does anyone have good ideas on how to make one that looks very real-not a piece of cheap cardboard.

Try a used music shop or used bookstores. They usually have music on different media for sale. If that doesn't work, most cities have libraries which have book sales to open new shelf space for new items, and they usually have those for sale too.

Goodwill usually has them. You may also try your parents or older acquaintances, or yard sales..

Of course, there's always Amazon.com and E-bay too.

You should check out the nearest Goodwill or Salvation Army in your area. Now if you're looking for specific names, you should try looking for record stores near you in the local yellow pages. BTW in a thrift store like Goodwill, records at the cheapest will be 50 cents for a 45RPM, and 99 cents for a 33RPM. Good luck!
