Here is the truth...and it's going to hurt some, but the truth does that.
1. Mel made a movie in a town run by Jews. Hollywood is dominated by Jews. How is that? Are Jews prejudiced? Why such a fuss when he made the movie? Jews don't like Christians and don't want to do Christians any favors. No one in Hollywood had any interest in making a good film about Christ. Truth is, Jews are in power and are hindering Christians. Mel was in a position to do something great, and ...
2. the Jews, in power, were ostracizing Mel and hurting his career. Stress from the Jews prejudice against him...did this. It was weighing on him and stressing him.
3. when he was liquored up, naturally, it all just came out ....raw
Who is at fault?
Mel was persecuted, behind the scenes. This persecution, none of us could see. He was stressed cause the Jewish powers in Hollywood, were stressing his every move. Mel isn't at fault.
the Jews are at fault because they never did learn the lesson, that Christiand don't hate them. But a warning to the Christians: the Jews do resent and hate you...and will hinder you when then can.

Most notably that his photo resembled that of Saddam Hussein.
Saddams doppleganger? hmmmmm explains all the anti semitism rhetoric, as good a "Conspiracy Theory" as anything else huh?
Maybe when he goes before the judge he can ask for the "Passion of Christ". though I am sure the prosecution will paint his antics as a "Road Warrior" jurors may find he was a "Braveheart" but even if the judge sends him up "The River" he would only have to pay a small "Ransome" before he is released and hopefully he will realise he is not "Forever Young" and discontinue driving after a "Tequila Sunrise" or he may find himself yet again a "Bird on a Wire" I just hope he does not flip out in court and become a "Lethal Weapon".

Mel and his pappy are both members of a fundamentalist Catholic group that believe Jews are the "Christ Killers"! Nothing new. This has been the view on and off of the Christian Church since the gentiles took over. And yes there were lots of Catholic and Protestants that were Nazi that used that same logic to help put Jew in the concentration camps. Even one of my favorite theologians of that time D. Boenhoffer( a protestant) who was executed because he was part of the plot to kill Hitler called the Jews Christ killers. In fact if you don't think that the Nazis didn't consider themselves CHRISTIANS ...look at the belt buckles worn by the GERMAN ARMY during WW2. Stamped with the eagle and swastika are the words: GOTT MIT UNS (god with us)

I think he just "fell off the wagon". Its unfortunate that due to being well known, it ends up in all the headlines and internet.
The anti-Semitic comments probably harken back to his upbringing. As I recall, his dad has expressed some unpopular notions about a number of things, religion and Jews being one of them. When someone who has battled alcoholism returns to the bottle, there is usually a catalyst. Perhaps there has been some family trouble that brought this on. And that anger manifested itself in his outburst. We all know how family issues can affect us. It doesn't mean there is some evil agenda on the loose.
Its not my place to judge.
I wish blessings to you and yours, Mel.

Mel Gibson is an out-and-out anti-Semitic lunatic. He's 100% off-the-wall nuts and obsessed with Jews.
Anyone in Hollywood with any human decency will consider him persona non grata from now on.
(As if that inciting movie he made wasn't enough)

Typical LA BS... Everyone around here either has been or knows someone who has been accused of a DUI. I just feel badly that when you're Mel Gibson it's all over the news.

Gibson may just be a drunk who shot off his mouth (though when drunk people tend to say what they really believe and keep hidden when their normal inhibitions are not suppressed).
The anti-semetic remarks seem consistent with the reported treatment of Jews in his snuff film about Jesus Christ, though I didn't see it so I can't really say.
If anything his weath and fame are helping him avoid the consequences of his actions, rather than the reverse.

After this incident, I now think of Passion of the Christ as a blood libel against the jews.
I will never watch another Mel Gibson movie ever again.

I think that he has developed the disease commonly known as put food inside mouth-itis. I understand that he made a mistake and shouldn't have said what he said, but he still said it and there is no taking something like that back. Yet, one has to wonder if maybe he actually meant it. People who get drunk usually feel a little bit more freer to say stuff they wouldn't normally say because their inhibitions are so low and they'll say things that they probably had in the back of their mind anyhow. That is just my opinion by the way.

When a person puts him or herself in the public eye they are always open for criticisim. Therefore, if their career involves the publics opinion of them, they should be aware of how they act or things they do in public. People are allowed to make mistakes because we are all human, and we are all be responsible for our own actions. Unfortunately, sometimes when people are drinking they say things that are really on their mind. Things they would never say sober. So, yes, the man made a mistake, but still my opinion of him has changed. I see him as a bigot with money
