you cant, but you can find other things to think about... i'm not a cutter, but i like to punch walls, pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional... i like to look straight down from high places because i have a fear of heights, i can feel the panic and the fear, along with butterflies and it makes the anger go away for a while... sometimes forever

You simply have to decide that you won't be angry anymore. Do whatever it may be to make you feel better.. cry, scream or whatever, just one last time, but that's it! Then talk to GOD, and sincerely ask him to take your anger away from you cause you don't want it anymore. Lift your hands to him and say; ''Lord, I cast my cares upon you.'' He'll help you. All you need is FAITH, but you have to do your part too. Every time you start to think about it, STOP yourself! Don't entertain the thoughts... It won't work if you continue to hold on to it, cause only YOU can let it go! And the last thing you need to do is FORGIVE the person that has wronged you! No matter who it is, or what they've done, you HAVE TO FORGIVE them! For you. It probably won't be easy but, in order to move on and have peace of mind you must forgive them. It's the only way!

Hope it works out,
GOD BLESS

Naw naw, its for you, DON'T FRONT!! Anyway, about letting go...you just have to accept that it happened, and since you can't do anything about it, why ponder or feel bad about it. It was the past so you have to move on. And also, letting things go can require crying about it. There is nothing wrong with crying, it helps and it heals, its like laughing. But you don't wanna cry for too long. You don't have to be impulsive in order to release your anger, but how about you channel your anger in a different direction other than violence.

Once you understand that whatever it was that made you angry is now controlling you.....making you still feel the anger, usually that alone makes you say."Hey, I don't want to allow something else to control me" Also direct all of that energy into something for good:) It does work:)

You have to DIFFUSE the anger before it makes you feel bad...the way you THINK leads you to become angry...find a new way to think about the thing that makes you mad...try to find the role YOU played in what happened and quit feeling like a VICTIM...

Forgive, forgive, forgive. Forgive yourself before you forgive the other person. Hate and anger make evil slavemasters. Both put you under bondage. Forgiveness loosens the bonds.

You make a decision to have a better life and then you go about doing what you need to do to get that better life.

Not sure what you are referring to. But, it just takes time to get over things. Talking about it helps!

Just work through it. Cry if you have to. It'll pass.
