im thinking about piercing my nose...but im scared, and tips?

I've never done it myself, but I just had a friend get hers done 2 weeks ago, and she said that it hurt less than when she had her ears done. Of course, it was sore afterwards, and she said she couldn't sleep on that side for a couple of nights. But she loves it, and says it was totally worth it. Good luck!

Make sure to have it done by a reputable professional - do your homework... after that, go for it - you're only young once!!! I had my nose pierced for many years and loved it!
When I was ready to join the "adult" world, I had to remove my stud and my nose has totally healed, you can't even tell it was ever pierced. Anyone who tells you that you're going to damage your future by getting a piercing is clueless. I have earned my MBA and am an HR Manager for a Fortune 500 company. I personally would love to see Corporate America loosen up a bit and start looking past a persons piercings, hairstyles and tattoos and start focusing on what's really important - can this person do the job at or above the expected level?

Hey there..well i pierced my nose about two years ago. I was 15 at that time and to tell the truth it didn't hurt as much as i expected ;) which is good lol. It was just a little pinch..It goes pretty fast if you do it with a gun..that's what i had. Just make sure they put a lot of ice before piercing it. You'll feel less.

Just be sure that you dont want any sort of decent job before you do it. I would never hire anyone with a nose piercing.
If youre young or whatever I suppose you can get by for a while, or maybe in a really lax setting. But really, you already have two nostrils and a mouth, do you want another opening in your face?

getting your nose pierced is just like getting ur ears pierced if you have those pierced. If you dont have your ears pierced you still have nothing to worry bout. Getting your nosed pierced does not hurt even if you cant handle pain.

You shouldnt.You will set a bad example for younger kids and i no its not about them because its what you want but people will ook at you differently.just do your ears and stick with that like just 2 0r 3 piercings on your ear but if you already have it then good for ya!I am just telling you you will seem different in fron of kids who love ya!

YES. BLOW YOUR NOSE FIRST. THEN THINK ABOUT HOW IT WILL FEEL WITH SOME SNOTTY METAL IN IT. I'M NOT JOKING OR TRYING TO BE A SMARTASS.... JUST GIVE IT A LOT OF THOUGHT. HAVE FUN!

Don't do it. I did, and ended up taking it out like 3 weeks later, it really annoyed me. I still have the damn hole, it scarred.
