With the Control Panel, I set my home page to www.google.com. But since yesterday I seem to have a problem. I open Internet Explorer, and as usual, the bottom of the screen will say "opening page www.google.com", but for some reason, after it says that, it will change the page to this website I'd never heard of before called www.safetyhomepage.com. It will go to any other website I enter into the address bar except Google. Do you know why it would do this, and how I can get it so Google will actually open up?

Sounds like you have spyware on your computer that is redirecting your Google homepage to their website.

It sounds like they have changed the contents of your HOSTS file.

Contact me using my website if you would like some help on how to change the file so that you can access google.com
