If you are 35 and under...about 6 to 9 months is average. If you are older than that, the average is about a year.

There is no "typical" at all. Depends on age, whether you have been on birth control and how long, your health and your habits, your partner's health and their habits (such as smoking or drinking), any meds either of you are on... There are so many variables. Nowadays it actually is harder to conceive because of the pseudoestrogens in our foods and environment that wreak havoc with our bodies. Enjoy the process, however, and don't fret about it.You'll get more stressed otherwise, and that helps nothing.

it can only take 1 time. But what you need to know is when you ovulate. You can find this out by taking your temp. every morning b4 u do anything, when it does an increase, u are ovulting, and the egg is ready for the sperm. I guess u can take it from there.

It shouldn't take longer than 12 months. That's when they say to consult a doctor. It took my husband and I 8 months.
