Don't do it simply because some stupid kids are teasing you. Soon you will be out of high school and away from the idiots.
Do it only because you want it changed for your own reasons. Once you do it then it can never be undone.
Once you come to a decision, approach your parents and discuss it maturely. Express your reasons. As long as they are your true feelings (and not just peer pressure) then they should understand and support your decision.
At any case, when you turn 18 you can then make up your own mind.

People can be jerks, and especially people your age. Teens get pressure from all sides and for all sorts of different reasons, and with each one you've just gotta shrug it off and be yourself.
If being uncut is uncomfortable and painful, then you'd probably want to see a doctor first. See if you can get an alternative to circumcision first to make it more comfortable and less painful. If it's because your foreskin is too tight, you can gently stretch the opening as far as it'll go without pain and in a few weeks it should be better; and don't forget to clean down there. Who knows? Perhaps after that you'd change your mind and won't want to be cut.
I say, try that first. Then, in a couple years if you still want to get circumcised, you'll be like 18 and won't need your parents' permission. Also by then, no one should be making fun of you for something like that anyway.

You cherishable young man! Let me tell you this, now I am not bragging but this is the truth, I am a very attractive women ever since I was your age I have had guys falling at my feet. Now I am 27 and it is still the same, Now I am pregnant and choose to marry, my love of my life...he is not cirumsized and I have had both. It doesn't really matter at all.
BUT if you are in pain down there" I would see your doctor and the medical facts may help your parents accept your decision at your young age. Goodluck.

Tell them straight up like you said it here. They are not stupid, they will understand. I will warn you, there will be about 5-6 months of discomfort during the healing part, and it may take some time to get used to the bare feeling. Other than being made fun of, is there any other reason? Make sure you know what you are doing, it cannot be reversed. Good luck

Well now that is a delicate subject. Man I started this answer three times now, and dude this is hard. Hold on. OK, bring it up at dinner, Say this "See here, I want to be circumcised" Then wait a minute, Now depending on your parents, you will get anyone of many answers. If its a negative answer, not one you like, then just repeat yourself. On the other hand, if its a positive answer, then your good. If they give you a hard time, tell them to "cut it off", oops I mean out!, make it fun and it will be OK. OK? then enjoy.

My grandfather told us he had to have it done when he entered the military during WW2 and he was 25. He said it hurt like hell, but he was glad to have done it. Various reasons, mostly hygiene related he said. I don't suppose he had to tell his mom, of course, I don't think he had to tell us, but he told us when we had our own sons and had it done for them at birth. He insisted it was less cruel to circumcise a baby than a grown man.
As a mom of a son close to your age, if he were in your position, I think we would just want to hear it straight out. I mean, your parents KNOW you aren't circumcised, so it isn't going to shock them that you have a foreskin. They might want to know why you want to do this and if you feel funny about telling them all the reasons, just note the ones that are related to pain and discomfort. Surely they can understand you not wanting to be uncomfortable or in pain. Tell them you would like to see a doctor about it and would they please help you out. Otherwise, you will have to wait til adulthood and it sounds like (if you are serious) that this may not be a good option for you. Just be as honest as you can with your parents. You can get the point across without telling them everything.
Good luck, kid!

If you are sexually active I think that an uncircumcised penis can be unsanitary. Explain to your parents that you do not like being uncut and that you think it would be a healthy decision to have the skin removed. If you are willing to have the procedure performed upon you that should tell your parents just how serious you are. Also do some homework online - get them something they can read. Best of luck to you.

That depends on the personalities of your parents, which I can't know. But maybe it's a good idea to talk to your doctor about it, there are some medical advantages to being circumcised at a young age,,, and then after you talk to your doctor, if he agrees it might be easier to approach your parents.

Well my boy friend is un-circumcised and he tells me it hurts sometimes and such but when it comes to sex personally he is AMAZING compared to circumcised men he is WAY better. So if i was you i would wait untill you were much older and have experienced more with it the way it is and if you still feel the way you feel then get it cut but i would wait.

Why do kids think that their parents are so bad. Your parents will understand if you talk to them about it. Just don't bring up the subject at the dinner table.
