What is the best places to visit in cape cod and martha's vinyard?

I would check out Provincetown or Hyannis for the nightlife, there are a lot of good bars and clubs. Whale watches also leave out of bothe of these towns. A visit to the National Seashore is very nice as well. There is a lot to do on Route 28, such as mini golf and go carts, stuff like that. It really all depends on what you're looking for. Will you be there with family, are you single, etc.
