I think the "wrong crowd" is usually referring to Christians, Because they insist that you immediately stop thinking, Don't ask any questions that begin with why, And do as your told no matter how stupid it sounds.

The "wrong crowd" I think is generally a group of people that are experimenting with situations that are they are "not adult" enough for. Parents obviously want the best for their kids and it is exciting to think what your kids are going to grow up to be and see their success and their failures, you just hope there is less of the later. The fear is the group you can not control except to give your kids the advice that worked for you.

When I say not adult enough for, I mean thngs like, Drinking, Sex, Pot. All of these things are not necessarily bad, but you have to have some understanding of them, before you jump into them feet first. Any one of them can get you into a lot of trouble with out the right guidence and right atmosphere. Get immature people doing any of the above and you are bound to have a bad outcome. There is also the other bad crowd that generally are involved in the above, but just do bad things that most people would not consider. Such as beating a homeless person. Stealing and so forth, all things that would break a parents heart.

I am speaking as a soon to be father and I have such excitement to think about my baby coming into this world and all the things that I can watch him or her do. But I am frighted for that day that they get to be 12-16 and on when every year a little more of the baby/child is gone, but also excited for the next stage and I can see them go through what I am going through now.

Ok so they will probably not be on yahoo answers but you know what I mean :D

The "wrong crowd" are those youths who rebel against the sound advice and instructions that loving parents give to their children to keep them from making the same mistakes that they made when they were younger.

The "wrong crowd" is that group of people that bumper stickers talk about when they say "Hire a teenager now while they still know everything".

When people are young they often act as if they are immortal and they are in a hurry to do all of the things that they couldn't do until they got old enough without ever considering whether or not things like getting drunk and having promiscuous sex are really the best life choices to make.

The "wrong crowd" is anyone who accepts less than your absolute best efforts. We are influenced by peers. Water will always seek it's own level. Attitudes are contagious and your parents are probably very lovingly concerned that you don't catch the kind that is contrary to the values they have taught you.

This is a no-brainer!

The "wrong crowd" is exactly what you said. It's whichever people your parents don't want you hanging around. Typically, the crowd that leads you to prison.

The wrong crowd is any person or group that cares about their own interests before anyone else's, such as people who encourage you to use drugs, steal, lie, etc.
