By ALL means, my dear,"A Night At The Opera" is the way to go!

ALL the way!

Queen's GREATEST shining moment WITHOUT a doubt.

One of the GREATEST Classic Rock albums EVER recorded, in my opinion.

I have it on an original 1975 vinyl record album & the 30th Anniversery CD w/ the bonus DVD.

If you get it on CD, try to get the 30th Aniversery version, 'cos the digital remastering on the songs is IMPECABLE, & bonus DVD is AWESOME!

ALL the tracks on the album are SUPERB, PLUS it's got "Bohiemian Rhapsody" on it, which is Queen's BEST song EVER, so it's kinda a DONE DEAL there.

My FAVORITE tracks are "Good Company", "Sweet Lady", & "Death On Two Legs".

By ALL means, my dear, you MUST have a copy of "A Night At The Opera" in your collection!

Not to do so would be PARANOID!

Oh, & IGNORE the guy BELOW me that gave you a long rambling LIST of albums to buy.

Though it's TRUE that they are are ALL different & EQUALLY good, "A Night At The Opera" is STILL the GREATEST album of them ALL, & has ALL of the bases COVERED in terms of musical preferences.

& DEFINATELY forget about ANYONE who just put down "Greatest Hits I-III".

THOSE guys just put that there becase they DON'T know any REAL Queen albums, & just put THAT down because they DO know that EVERY artist HAS or WILL HAVE a "Best Of" or "Greatest Hits" album eventually.

The ONLY album you REALLY need is "A Night At The Opera".

Why buy the COW when you can get the MILK for FREE?

Or in THIS case, why by the whole "Boxed Set", when you can get ALL the BEST tracks & a BONUS DVD for WAY cheaper?

Oh, & while we're on the subject of saving $$$, BEST BUY is the BEST place to go for CDs.

I'm NOT kidding, I got MY 30th Aniversery Edition copy of "A Night At The Opera" w/ the bonus DVD, there for $20 FLAT!

& it's probabally even CHEAPER now since it has been out for about a year now!

(Tip: ALWAYS look in the CLEARENCE section FIRST if you wanna find a REALLY good deal on specialty CDs!)

& if you're looking for a REALLY good "Boxed Set", look for "The Doors: Boxed Set", it is WAY better than the "Queen: Boxed Set".

I still love Queen WAY more than The Doors, but "The Doors: Boxed Set" is WAY too awesome to pass up over the "Queen" one, 'cos it's got a S HIT-LOAD of BONUS stuff in it, like previously unreleased material & live recordings & a HUGE pull-out booklet with TONS of AWESOME pictutres & articles.

But WHATEVER you do, by ALL means, my dear: buy "A Night At The Opera" FIRST!

You'll be SORRY if you DON'T!

Depends on what of Queens work do you like. If you like their radio hits get "Greatest Hits". If you like their over the top style of arrangements, try "A Night at the Opera". That album has "Bohemian Rhapsody" and many other great songs. My favorite album by Queen is "Sheer Heart Attack" because it has Queen's best styles: Hard Rockin' stuff, Dramatic harmonies, and the works. This is my recommendation if you like Queen for the same reasons I do: Great vocal harmonies, rockin' guitar licks and a unique style.

Anyway it just depends what part of Queen you like. Heres my list in the order I would get them
If you like hits, get:
1. Greatest Hits
2. A Night at the Opera
3. The Game

If You like their over the top vocal style, get:
1. A Night At The Opera
2. A Day at the Races
3. Jazz

If you like their hard rockin early stuff, get:
1. Sheer Heart Attack
2. Queen I
3. Queen II

Just figure out what you like about them and pick the album off the list that fits.

Get the 'Queen-Greatest Hits' It's got ALL (20) of the BEST Queen songs. It's got a black cover, with all the guys faces on it. Copyright date should be 2004. It totally kicks butt! Trust me you'll enjoy it.... debs
