me and my cousin are starting a band and we need a bass guitar player and the only person who is the only person we know and we think she is kind of bad.........should we give her a chance or not?

I have my own band as well. Be careful who you put in your band, and make sure that you all get along well. Having a band is like being in a second family you'll have good days and bad ones. Also make sure you leave the lines of commutation open. And gel real good on stage it's hard out there but you'll make it. And most of all have fun!!! Every one deserves a chance!

how about you give her a couple of chords to play, and then, if you still feel that way, dont really give her a chance, and put up an ad for a bass guitar player...

she can practice YOU KNOW PRACTICING CAN IMPROVE HER SKILLS :P
or you cAN try looking for someone else
but to save some time give her a chance
though she will need time to practice :)
