Like any entertainment it has it's high's and low's. The summer time especially. I think for us fans that remember the Rock, SCSA etc.. it was a heyday compared to now but the funny thing is some people say the heyday was before then and some say it is now(how that could be I don't know--lol). I agree the new guys aren't up to snuff, they havent found that right person to pick the ball up like there was in the past.

Carlito, Johnny Nitro and Shelton Benjamin are very talented performers working their way up the ladder on Raw. All 3 are about to reach the main event level. Edge is the top star on Raw at the moment, but he really hasn't been as successful during this reign as his last was.

On Smackdown, they've got Finlay, Regal, Lashley, Kendrick, London, Kash and Noble for top talent being built up and King Booker (formerly Booker T, but he's King of the Ring) is champion.

This past week's Smackdown actually featured 7 matches, of which most were good, despite about half of the roster coming down is some kind of liver epidemic. Khali's not likely to last as a top guy. Cena, Batista, and Orton are probably going to get some competition in the main events soon. I think Carlito's going to be the number 1 guy and I've thought so ever since the night he spit the apple in Striker's face. Now he's improved to the point that he's one of the best in-ring performers in the world, in addition to his great mic work. He's definitely got a chance to be the next "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Raw is about where WWE was in 1997. Smackdown has advanced from a 1995 WWF to a 1996 WWF. ECW is stuck around a 1995 WWF. Raw's about a year away from being more successful, especially as Wrestling Society X hits MTV and increases the number of fans. Eventually, they'll dump Lord MTV's rotten wrestling show and watch WWE because WWE's going to be talked about alot more by those who do watch if those who watch MTV are talking about that rotten show.

3 letters: TNA. I absolutely, positively, beyond a shadow of a doubt hate WWE & anything Vince McMahon touches. Vince McMahon has become the Grim Reaper of Professional Wrestling. He's making WWE about as bad as that farce he called the XFL. Bringing back the ECW logo doesn't make what he puts out there ECW, either. Rather, it's WWE garbage in ECW attire. McMahon is an absolute loser, & I personally hope he goes bankrupt. He doesn't care what his fans want, & I got sick of him when he started blaspheming for shock value.
Personally, I used to love WCW, at least until another Vince, Vince Russo, ruined it by making it a WWE clone. He's another joke I hate as much as McMahon, but I digress. TNA kind of reminds me of the old WCW with some new flare to it. They have better stars, including Sting, Scott Steiner, Kevin Nash, & I'll even say Jeff Jarrett. They've recruited Christian, Rhino, & Christy Hemme from WWE, & the rumor mills say they are trying to get Goldberg & possibly Brock Lesnar. Their X Division has some amazing new talent, as well. In fact, aside from Samoa Joke, I tend to like most of the TNA roster, & even he is better than a lot of what is on WWE. I definitely recommend you check it out. It comes on SpikeTV, & if you haven't seen it yet, you've been missing out on some great action.

Oh, good lord, yes! I remember when they used to occasionally interrupt the wrestling to talk on the mic instead of the other way around. It's a soap-opera with really bad writers. It started going down hill fast a couple of years ago. I stopped watching.

I agree, i was a dotting WWE fan, but then things went down hill big timw havn't watched it for about 2 years now so not sure whats happening.
But it would be good if it went back to the way it was, exciting, different, new. plus the men were fine in that at one stage.

I think it is. I used to watch it with my husband, but I think it isn't worth it any more. I really miss all those things Stone Cold did. Looks like they're trying it with DX, but will it last?
