No, I didn't cry, but I was incredibly shocked. Under normal circumstances, there was no way he could have been taken out so easily, but since he was weakened prior to the attack, he was unable to properly protect himself. It's also entirely possible that he intended for himself to die (not quite sure why he would have done that, though).
Do I believe he'll come back? No... that'd be waaaaay too cliche for J. K. to pull off... so far, she's done an amazing job at skirting around anything overly obvious. I think it's as simple as he's dead. That's it. End of story... or rather, his story...
Now, for some ideas, and some spoilers (So, don't read this if you haven't read the book yet!!):
The spell that was cast over Snape and Draco's aunt in the beginning of the book sealed Snape's fate... I don't believe he truly wanted to do what he did, but had no choice, due to the Charm that had been woven that night.
I'm WAITING for the moment when Snape turns on Voldemort and reveals where his true allegiance lies. I mean, think about it... if Snape was truly that evil and allied with Voldemort, why didn't he kill Harry in the end of the book? Here's the better one to contemplate on:
If Snape was against Harry, Dumbledore, and Hogwarts, why would he have given Harry a major clue as to what he needs to do before confronting the Dark Wizard (He mentioned something akin to "How can you expect to defeat Voldemort if you can't even master Occlumency or cast spells without speaking?"). This is going to be of enormous help to Harry in the end... so long as his mind remains open and he voices the incantations, Voldemort is going to be able to know every spell Harry attempts (and then block it) before he can attempt to properly pull it off.
Here's something else I had been waiting for since book 4 (Goblet of Fire), and which has been strongly confirmed by reactions in the last book (The Halfblood Prince)...
I think that Draco is just now beginning to realize how deep he's been getting into things. He probably viewed everything he had done as a game of sorts and/or following in his father's footsteps (as every "good kid" would love to do). I have a strong feeling that at some point in the final book, Draco is going to turn around and help out Harry by turning on Voldemort.
Think about it... if he was so hell-bent on being the next great dark wizard in the family, why did he baulk at taking out Dumbledore himself?
Just food for thought...

Note to anyone who hasn't read the book and gotten here. Spoilers ahead.
I had unintentionally read a spoiler for the book before actually reading it. So I was expecting it and looking forward to the reasons/events that led Snape to do what he did.
Snape is by far my most favorite character in the book. Well, actually, Draco comes in at a close second. Those two characters aren't pure evil as many readers surmise. There is plenty of evidence to show that.
But anyway, the crying part. Well, like I said, I expected it so didn't really cry. The funeral was incredibly touching what with EVERYONE, even those who hated him, coming to show their respect. I think I shed a tear or something, but then realized that it was just fiction. I was way more distraught when a character died in book 4 because I didn't see that coming and I hated Voldemort and wanted to pummel him myself.
Oh and there are websites dedicated to the belief that the character is not dead. The primary one is:
http://www.dumbledoreisnotdead.com/
Happy reading and speculating!

Haha yes I did cry and I hope that Snape burns as well! That is a great book and try reading the 1st few again...I am still amazed at how JK Rowling had the foresight to set up some of the stories that she did....It's amazing the hints that I missed the first time I read the books.

oh lord... the first night it came out my friends and i stayed out at the book store until midnight and got the book the moment it was released. from that point..i continued to read it until i got so groggy from all the harry potter festivited that day that i ended up reading the same line over and over again..and ended up going to bed.
But i got through the entire thing the next day and i had finished it that night...
when i read those last three chapters i literally started bawling. I was so devestated...i couldn't continue reading. Finally i stopped and i kept reading the ending chapters in which i kept crying straight through and i finally finished it and closed the book and wiped my eyes. My boyfriend, who apparently reads loads faster than me, finished the book an hour before and called me to ask me if i finished it.. I yelled at him lol. I was soooo sad.
Then i went downstairs to eat (i had been neglecting the duty to feed myself all day, or i'd do it haphazardly with the book in hand) i was puffy, red eyed and disgruntled. My mother actually hugged me and asked me if everything was alright!!! She thought i broke up with my boyfriend or something lol. . .
oh well..i couldn't say the truth...they would NEVER understand how attached i am to those characters..
that's why i love harry potter. Jkr weaves the story so eloquently that i seriously fall in love with her characters and mourn their deathes.
I recently reread the 6th on a plane ride back from Paris, and while i was finishing the book up...i literally had to stop reading and look around and blink a lot...just so tears wouldn't come down my face...
:)

I did not actually cry but was really upset.
The most beautiful around the funeral was the phoenix's song... that was touching...
I hope we will learn the truth about Snape. I'd believed he would turn out to be on the right side, but now I think he will die whatever the truth might be. Traitors and double agents cannot live long.

I didn't cry when that person died- but I was in total shock when it happened...I did get teary-eyed when I read about the funeral...but if you read mugglenet in the past couple of days J.K. Rowling said that he is really dead and will not come back- same thing with SB too... :(

I didn't cry when he died but it got my adrenalin going. Then when things started to simmer down I wanted run through the house screaming my head off. But had to restrain myself because it one in the morning and my family of been very appreciative of that.
