You should not concentrate on losing weight, but eathing healthy and leading a healthy lifestyle, which includes moderate exercise, eating your fruits, veggies, and a full day's supply of nutrients, along with keeping up a healthy body image. If necessary, seek out nurtition counseling if you still have questions. Your doctor can probably recommend someone.

Wear clothes that look nice on you and make you feel good about yourself. Don't worry about what fashion magazines and TV programs tell you about how much you should weigh.

Be healthy, and you won't need to worry about the rest.

your obviously not FAT,you must be PHAT......
LOVE YOURSELF be confident with who you are...you wouldn't want to have hanging skin at 16 would you?
i know how hard it is to accept being BIG i was when i was about your age,but the amazing part about it was i found inner peace with my weight and loved it..the secret is to look your best,when you look good you feel good!!
find clothes that fit you well,a hair do that brings out your face and just accept that your you and you'll see everyone one will love your size it starts with you....
but if you dint like that idea you'd want to try exercise join a gym most gym's have diet charts or some thing like that,if not a gym then put yourself on a diets,sport and eat less
the easiest would be to fill good about yourself and just enjoy your teens.....

Join a sports team in your neighborhood or at school. It doesn't matter if you can't play, you will get the exercise and have fun at the same time. Also, sports build up a girls' self esteem.

Also, ask your parents to stop buying junk food.

Unless you are very obese, you shouldn't worry about losing weight unless it is for health reasons. Be confident with the way you are now. Everyone is different, and you can't compare yourself to others.
