Deficit spending: War with cut in taxes. LBJ (a democrat) tried the same thing in Vietnam. It didn't work then it will not work now. Inflation down the line will result. War is costly and must be paid for. He is using a "credit card" to defer the problem.

He has fired folks from his own administration that were not compliant with the fallacies they wanted to project as fact: i.e. cost of war (Sec. of Treasury forced to resign), misuse of CIA intelligence on Iraq and Afghanistan (forced out George Tenet),

Allowing Bin Laden to escape at Tora Bora because of fear to use American troops and relying on Afghan proxies with questionable allegiances.

Forcing out Sec of State Colin Powell over manipulation of facts for presentation to the UN. Hatchet jobs on the folks who disagreed with White House assessment of intelligence data for the WMD program in Iraq (Wilson and others).

Advocating the institution of "war on terrorism". This is difficult to do since terrorism is a METHOD not a Nation or State. This is a war without end just like the "war on drugs". Both lead to loss of civil liberties based almost entirely on fear of a nameless and faceless enemy. Orwellian "perpetual war".
