I'm a native to Las Vegas and honestly if you need to carry a purse then I don't think you would have a problem. Just use common sense just as you would if you were any where else. Las Vegas Blvd or "the strip" is full of lights, security, and police patrol and I have never heard of purse snatching being that much of a problem. I'm sure it happens you just have to use common sense and caution. There are alot of women that carry purses on the strip in Las Vegas.

In Vegas purse-snatchers go for purses not being watched or held tightly. The purse should have a strong strap to keep it on your wrist or over your shoulder. Whether you go with something small or large, the main thing is to have it secure. Go with whichever feels most comfortable for you to hang onto, and that you're unlikely to set down somewhere. If you want to carry a wallet separately, don't put it in a back pocket or outside pocket where it's easy to get at. I go to Vegas 2-3 times a year and have had no problems.

Yes, it is a bad idea to carry a clutch purse with you in Vegas. I suggest you use a fanny pack. I know, I know-- fanny packs are so "touristy looking", but they are safe. Plus, when you use those, both of your hands are free. Just make sure the pouch part of it stays in the front so no one can be sneaky and try to unzip it from behind when you're occupied with something else. I used one at Universal Studios in Orlando and it made such a difference. No one wants to constantly worry about carrying/holding a purse-- and there's always that terrible chance that you'll accidentally lay it down and forget to pick it back up-- then it's gone for good. At least the fanny pack stays attached at all times! :)

No it is not any longer continually a foul concept. i ought to have done an identical element as this mom.. She develop into picking on a baby for her outfit decision so she needs to carry close the way it feels to be made interesting of... Sitting down and having a communicate about it easily gained't help something.. they're going to easily music out. human beings study from adventure. also, speaking with the sufferer about what made her experience victimized will supply that baby a huge susceptible spot that the bully knows will damage them. no longer a sturdy concept.

No I wouldn't think so I've been to Vegas many times it's not a problem. Walking down the strip or going out to a restaurant it's all fine, but I wouldn't reccomend going to a club with it, then I would worry about taking it with me. Hope this helps.

Keep your money on yourself. I live in Vegas and you definitely don't want to walk on the strip at night with a purse.

I wouldn't just because there's so much to do and look at that you just might set it down and forget about it.

As long as you keep track of it at all times, it's okay. Don't turn your back on it EVER.
