if the property is not already gone to closing then and if you obtain a power of attorney (make sure it covers financial powers!) you can revoke any past powers and forward yours to the attorneys, title company, state of florida, etc. that should stop any further activity by a scoundrel. good luck!

This sounds like a case of elder abuse and you should contact state social services in order to have it investigated. Also contact law enforcement or talk to someone at a local senior center and explain the problem. They are usually very good at exposing this type of fraud and can possibly cancel any fraudulent sale.

You will need to talk to a probate attorney.
The executor of the estate can usually do whatever they feel is best for the estate unless it is contested.
