Plus, Jane Eyre is a good book because it has very interesting chapters. My favorite part was when Jane found out she was rich. I liked this part because it filled her with joy. My least favorite part was when Jane left the person she loved, so she wouldn't get hurt. I didn't like this part because it made me feel bad for Jane. I liked the ending because it was very happy! I would recommend this book to you because it has a lot of suprising scenes. I'm not going to tell you anymore because you will have more fun reading it yourself.

This girl who is about eighteen years old falls in love with a guy who could be her father. Jane Eyre is a governess to Mr. Rochesters niece and ends up falling in love. It's a great book if you like classic novels although the big age difference is gross.

I liked it. Jane Eyre is an orphan, raised for a while by her aunt, who then sends her off to a church based boarding school for being a "troublesome" child. After years of living in the squallor of the school, graduatiing and then becoming an instructor there. Jane decides to offer her talents as a governess. She gets hired by Mr. Rochester, a gruff, scraggly, rich man. She is to tutor a younge french girl, who is not Rochesters' daughter. Over the course of several months Jane starts to fall for Rochester and he for her because she cares for him and not his money. Several strange things start to occur in the house. Knocking noises, an arson in Mr. R's room, someone trying to break into Janes' room. A visitor comes to the house, that night things go wrong as the man is attacked and severly injured, by a crazy woman being kept under lock and key in the attic. Eventually, Mr. R proposes and they head to the chapel to get married. The wedding is stop and disbanded because it is proven that the crazy woman is Mr. Rs' first wife. Jane in heart ache and fear flees the home with no $ and gets taken in by a family in the countryside. The family turns out to be long lost relatives on ther fathers side, and she finds out that she inherited a lot of money. After a few months she has an urging to return and make amends w/ Mr. R. Upon her return the home is nothing but a burnt out skeleton. At the local village she learns of the new residence for the old house keeper and heads over there. At her arrival she finds that Mr. R is also in residence and is missing a hand, has a limp and is blind. All his injuryies occured while he tried to save his crazy first wife who was the one who set the blaze to the home. Jane decides to stay w/ Mr. R and loves him for many years.

I really didn't like it. Felt overly contrived and corny. I thought Wuthering Heights was far superior.
