Don't accept future dinner invitations to his house. And don't invite HIM to your house again, either.
Perhaps he was just being friendly, but it sounds suspicious. I don't know how much you've got riding on your job, but if it really concerns you.... If you decide to confront him, look into getting a second job before you do it.
Or have your wife talk to him next time something like this happens. He may be your boss, but he's not HER boss, and she has every right to- politely- tell him to back off.

I can only imagine how outraged you are. If you want to keep your job, and I'm assuming you do, the best course of action is to keep your wife away from this guy. I can promise you that this guy has done this before to lots of other women, and he gets away with it because of his position. This is just a sad part of corporate America.
Please don't kill him, even though I know you want to. He is creepy, he undoubtedly has a miserable home life, and I'm sure he is secretly hated by almost everyone who knows him. Killing him would be doing him a favor, and you don't want to do him any favors, right?

You're a busy guy, Spas. Here's another question you posted this evening:
-----------------
Should I give up? After we had an arguement and "semi-break-up" I played a flute outside my girlfriends apartment and her and her girly friends came to the window and laughed at me.
------------------
How about this one (another leggy question):
------------------
Am I in trouble, What should I do?
A woman I work with (an equal position) always touches my arm when she talks to me and so one day when she was touching my arm I reached down and put my hand on her leg (mid-thigh) and she started shaking and saying what are you doing, what are you doing? Then she ran out and banged on our bosses door. They were in his office for like 30 minutes.
------------------
Maybe it's time to slow down and get a life. ONE life, that is!

You could ask him privately why he did that? If your raise suddenly goes away you have a case and a witness. I guess you and your wife could go see him together since she was there and it was her knee...
The guy either had a little too much Merlot or he is a complete jerk. Either way he has a supervisor too...

talk to your wife first (youll get fired for sure eventually if she is sleeping with him) but if thats not it.... i think you could be overthinking... alot of people talk with their hands and your wife was sitting next to him... just write it off and take ur promotion dude
