not true as far as I know.. what country are you in? It is very rare that anything would actually get banned like that in the USA. But there are a lot of articles refuting Brown's many errors.

Wow, no I haven't heard anything about it... but I recommend just reading the book and please don't mind what all the atheists or the die hard christians say... good grief it's a book not the second coming. The book is definitely waaaaaaaaay better. And all though the story line is not meant for some... no one has the right to judge what you want or don't want to read. What ever you decide... enjoy. Now I'm gonna have to do some research on this DBD version.... sorry I couldn't answer your main question.

What's a DBD? I think the entire DBD technology must have been banned in the US, cause I've never heard of it.

The pirated DVDs (if that's what you mean) are. The movie isn't out on DVD yet. The movie is not banned. It is just not in wide circulation.
