1. What do you think about him?

Great young talent. He will never be Wayne Gretzky and anyone who claims he will be is either on drugs or too young to see Wayne in his prime, but Alex is a great young player. He will consistently be one of the league's top players for years to come.

2. Was he better then Crosby ???

Crosby is the best 18 year old hockey player I have ever seen. I tihnk this last season, both guys were about even but Crosby impressed me more because of his age. I tihnk as the season went on and Crosby got some more experience and some of the older Penguins who weren't trying got axed, Crosby slowly overtook Ovechkin. Crosby then flat out outplayed Ovechkin in the World Championships and I rpedict Crosby will be better next year.

3. Is he able to score 60 goals in the next year?

Definitely a possibility. I think he'll do it.

4. Do you agree with Selanne who said that Ovechkin is the most exciting forward in NHL ?

I prefer Crosby's game because I enjoy watching nice passes but I understand why Selanne said that.

1. I think he is amazing but the new rules really helped a guy like Ovechkin along with many many other. Not taking anything away from him but in the old NHL he would of been like alot of the other guys in the league who have tremendous skill. he def proved himself this year however and lived up to the hype.
2. It is tough to say who is better and i like them both but based on last season i'm gonna have to go with Ovechkin. Maybe within the next year or 2 Crosby will out perform him. I do not agree with people who say Ovechkin had an extra year to develop because he didnt have an extra year in the NHL which obviously is the best league in the world. He was playing against alot of very good players but still did not have an extra year in the NHL.
3. I think that he can score 60 goals especially now that he might get some more support from his teammates.
4. It's tough to say who the most exciting forward is. He is def top 3 but im not sure about #1.

1) I love the enthusiasm he brings to the game. Him and Crosby both bring it which is exactly what the sport needs.
2) Being a Penguins fan, I have to say no. Crosby is phenomenal at just 18 and Ovechkin had an extra year to develop as a player.
3) Possibly. Depends upon the team around him. Also, I think with a year under the new rules that all the teams have had, I'm sure tons of coaches have tried to figure out a way to play defense against the rules.
4) No, I don't. He is one of the most exciting forwards but I think there are others that are more exciting.

1- he is amazing with the puck and he loves the game.

2- sure last year Ovechkin was better then Crosby but Crosby will be the main guy for years. Also Crosby and Ovechkin will be battling for the Hart and Art Ross trophy for years and who knows how good Malkin will be coming to the NHL.

3- I think he will score 60 goals but might not be next season though.

4- YES.

1. He's very good. Someone a GM can build a team around.
2. Definitely better than Crosby. For now, at least.
3. Probably not 60 goals. Maybe 45-50. Sophomore slump, you know.
4. Not most exciting forward overall, but definitely up there.

I think Crosby will be a better long term players..especially with te new pwnership,if they put some players around him..they should sign him for 10 years right now..but Ovechkin was an excellentr player last year, i belive he will have up and down years

1 I think that he is considered selfish, so proably a good reason
2. Can't say as they were on different teams. The Penguins had not real team Chemistry, the Caps were proably better off
3. I wouldn't be surprised. He may be a puck hog as well, but without anyone else he has to get the goals
4. I think Selanne is an IDIOT. If that is exactly what he said then he is an idiot. If he said ONE of the most then yeah I could see it but not the most.

1. Fantastic rookie.
2. Without a doubt - more mature, too.
3. I'm not sure he will see sixty goals. The team around him just isn't good enough to lift him on their shoulders to that kind of plateau.
4. The MOST exciting forward? That's too broad a praise for my taste. Most exciting last year? Perhaps. But who knows what his sophomore season will do for him/to him.
