This question is for the adults. If you cannot come up with a better answer than "he sucks ****", I don't want to hear from you.
For the record, I think he's doing a fine job but sense I don't live in the UK, I'm not really qualified to remark on how well he's running the country.

I think he's doing a very poor job. His whole philosophy is based on sustaining his own power rather than on any ideological princibles or sense of public-duty.
Therefore most of what he does is geared towards short term benefits, and often long term loss.

The policy of Public Private Partnerships is a good example, whereby newly built hospitals, schools etc. are going to be saddled with much higher debts in the future than they would have been through conventional borrowing. The only 'advantage' to this policy was that it allowed the govt to massage economic figures to their advantage in the short term.

Another example is the London Olympic bid, where it appears that the government simply lied about the projected costs of staging the event. Again it will be taxpayers who are left to pay for it.

Most of what Blair does is for show, and rarely solves anything in the long term. He may project a positive image abroad, but remember they don't know him as well as we do, and he even managed to fool us for almost a decade! if you care to investigate beyond the surface, I think you'll find yourself much less impressed by him.

I had no idea he did that kind of thing in his office. Serious, right. I'm from UK, lived in London for 5 yrs. I think Tony Blair has presided over the introduction of an horrifically intrusive and bullying nanny state. Living in it is a little like living in an apprentice former East Germany. Like everything else, it will pass, and give way to something else, and eventually there will be nothing but silence and dust. Sorry, don't be cross, I'm tired.

I will give him credit for answering random questions from the U.K people at the end he was sweating like a pig. You will never see Bush Jr. or any republican sit on a stool and take it from the people.

I am from the UK and I think HE thinks he is doin a great job ----- I think he actually believes he has principles... sometimes he does fine

BUT he is not representative of us all -- not even if we happened to vote for him --- he has charm and he occasionally misleads (apologies, Prime Minister)
