I have been looking for an alternitive to shaving (shins and thighs) and can't find something that works. I have used VEET and my legs only stay hair-free for less then a day, Yet the box states up to three! I'm not interested in laser or doctor visits, but do you know of any products that work or do you have any other suggestions? Please Help me! Thank You!

I think that wax would be too much for both of my shins and thighs. NO RUDE ANSWERS PLEASE!

I have had my eyebrows waxed and I know it doesn't hurt but that would be much for my whole legs!

I was fed up with always having prickly feeling legs too.. so I went and bought an epilady..(looks like a men's electric shaver, but uses rotating tweezers to pluck hair out) works great to as it pulls the hair out at the roots and isn't messy like waxing you can just plug it in and go.. although it will hurt the first few times you use it while you skin gets used to it but nothing I'm sure you can't handle.. I probably use it twice a week and it only takes between 5 to 10 mins per leg depending on how much hair has grown back.. i also use it for my bikini line too.. also if you it gets to painfull you can do a section of your leg then go back later and do the rest later..

Well, there's always wax, but that's kind of painful sometimes. If you go to a professional, it tends to hurt less. You should also try the new Nair (extra creamy) because that tends to work well. Also, Sally Hansen(?) works pretty well and the berry kind smells a lot better than Nair and VEET. Also try leaving the VEET on longer than usual. That works for me most of the time, and its kind of a waste of money to just not use a whole can of VEET, you know? :D

wax works better then veet, it also doesn't burn as bad, waxing is not as bad as people make it out to be, buy a cool wax kit and do it at home, you pull most of the hair by the roots and after a few times you hardly feel anything.
