Come on people. Read outside the box. If YOU would break a mirror over someone's head, who would have the bad luck.

i couldnt help but laugh out loud after i read this question. i just took a very large mirror off the wall in our bathroom and it broke half into. i was told that it was an old wise tale about broken mirrors. it was just nonsense, but in breaking it over some ones head, well then the Person who gets hit, i would say his/her luck must be bad.

Chances are the guy who got the mirror broken over their head. The bad luck started for them as soon as the mirror broke. Having broken shards of glass in one's head can't suggest too much luck in their life.

you would have the bad luck. the superstition states, if you break a mirror you will have 7 years bad luck. not what ever you break the mirror with will have 7 years bad luck. (think this way if you broke a mirror with a hammer, the hammer wouldnt be unlucky for 7 years would it...unless we all hurry and start a new superstition!!!)

I don't believe in superstitions so the person who has the mirror broke over their head would have the bad luck. They will probably get cut by the broken glass.

No one. The concept that breaking a mirror will give oneself bad luck is a foolish myth. I, myself, have broken many mirrors in my younger years and have lived a happy life. That myth is just and old-wives tale from hundreds of years ago. You only affront yourself by asking such a thoughtless and irrational question. Grow up and forget such juvenile ideas.

you, you broke the mirror, you only used the person's head as a tool, that would be like asking if you used a hammer to break a mirror, would the hammer have bad luck or you, or if you dropped a mirror...well you get it

i'm gonna have to say both... the other person apparently has bad luck if they got the mirror broken over their head, and probably bleeding profusely.
and you.. double whammy... one for breaking the mirror and one for Karma!!

There is no such thing as luck. People have a wealth of superstitions that have been created thru time. It is up to you not to base your life surrounding these things. Live your life not based on "luck" but being blessed.

The person you hit would have the bad luck, because they would most likely be bleeding and need to be rushed to the hospital for stitches.......!

Both of you! You for breaking a perfectly good mirror, getting charged with assault and probably getting your rear kicked. Them for having been assaulted, being injured and then kicking your rear.
