Please don't tell me about the bible and scripture
I want to know from those of you who can hear God in your life how does he speak
does he give you signs? dreams? does he give you a feeling? synctonisic?

I hear the voices of others from my past, usually my parents or grandparents but sometimes cartoon characters or others. The main thing is it's always GOOD advice and I get a feeling in my heart that this is the time I need to remember what I've beeen taught.

He talks to me through the situations and circumstances I find myself in during this day-to-day life... I share with Him what I perceive to be true and He directs my path... Sometimes, it's a crazy ride, but ALWAYS interesting... We talk about anything and everything...! Daddy's sooo cool...! YAY..! =)
Oh, and yes, of course, through the Bible... Sometimes a certain passage will just jump off the page after having been dormant for so long... Life experiences make His best-seller come alive...!

He talks to me in a number of ways, never audibly though. He speaks to through his Word, the Bible (I know you said don't say that, but he does), inner witness of his Holy Spirit (which is more than a feeling, you can't trust feelings), my pastors, my wife (the word for helper to describe the holy spirit is the exact same word that the Bible uses calling our spouses a helpmate, pretty cool, huh!), through every day events. But all of thes have to match what is in His Word. He will never do anything contrary to his Word.

I don't believe God speaks to us any more,but I do know he can do any thing.The Bible speaks that God will no longer put the handwriting on the wall,where it is our choice of believing or not.I have seen things that have happened through prayer.Dreams I do believe sometimes we connect to God.My personal experience is the Lord is very real. Our minds couldn't even begin to understand ..... all he can do .He can do all things.Believing is a connection to God.

When you give your life to Christ, you receive the holy spirit. And this spirit dwells inside you. This is your communication link between you and God. Thru this spirit, you are given feelings and dreams, and even quiet voices og truth are revealed.

Someone told me that He doesnt' speak to me or anyone anymote through dreams or audibally but through His Son. His son Jesus is my best friend and He talks to me every day. He was the only one who sat with me and talked to me when my wife left me three years ago. I would have never made it without Him.

My God talks to me through inner revelations, whenever i ask Him to help me, He is revealing to me the best ways to handle things, through the Holy Spirit. I couldn't explain how He do it, but i know it's Him that is talking to me because i can feel it,

I think it's through intuition. That's why you're always supposed to follow your gut feeling. If that's not Got, it's a least your Guardian Angel.
