In my opinion, the answer is emphatically "yes." For the sake of "saving diversity" and "preserving unity," many have gone over the line between respectful speech/cultural tolerance and totally disregarding the truth, fact, and objectivity for the sake of said diversity. Check out something one of my close friends discovered at his college -- a supposedly conservative college, no less: www.questionthecollege.blogspot.com.
I can understand the reluctance of the school's overseers to respond to the authors (because of anonymity), but the violations of this Diversity speaker go FAR beyond any acceptable limits. Plagiarized work was apparently presented to the entire student body and yet the college makes no attempt to reprimand the speaker nor correct the errors. There are many other incidents like this occurring in colleges/universities across the countries, but I was surprised to find one so obvious where the factual arguments presented were so completely ignored. Thoughts?

The only problem I have with your basic premise is that 'destroying' is present tense. PC has long ago destroyed almost everything useful in colleges and universities. We have a whole generation who have grown up with PC as their basic life view. They are nearly mindless.
