The departure of Bertuzzi left a big hole in our first line. I wondered what the Canucks are planning to do to fix this. Is Yan Bulis going to play there? Are we going to make another trade? Maybe play the Sedins with Naslund??

Also, with the (apparent) departure of Anson Carter, who are we going to use with the Sedins? Matt Cooke maybe? Reid? King> Maybe Bulis? please report any rumours you may have heard about any deals the canucks are going to swing to improve our situation on offense.

I think you already said it. The rumours I hear are Sedins with Nasland. Henrik was 20 points of Morrison anyway. Morrison spent half of last year in the dog house. They are short on right wing right now, so someone may have to move over.

Carter is an interesting situation. He hasn't gone yet, but he could start the year not playing with no contract.

I think they have the best in reliable goal-tending they have had in years. Seems to me they are looking to patch the defense to enhance the goalie. I hate to say it, but seems they are looking to become more of a defensive instead of an offensive team. Lousy hockey, but they face similar teams too much with the equally lousy schedule. Edmonton, Calgary, Minnesota. That is a quarter of their schedule.

Did u watch Toadtuzi play last year? He WAS a big hole all by himself. A fire hydrant would have worked better. The guy was a floater.

Probably Cookie if he can stay healthy but I would not be surprised to see Pyatt there as he has the size.

Bulis I highly doubt as he seems more the speedy winger type.

Yes, "we" will make another trade.

The Sedins with Naslund will not work at all. You saw Carter. You need a Phil Espo/Tim Kerr/Dave Andreychuk pot the rebounds guy with the Sedins. So I'd say that Sedin slot you may see a Jesse Shultz...who knows? I wouldn;t count Carter as gone becasue so far no team is willing to fork over the $3 mill per he wants.

Reid and King were useless before but maybe the new NHL will make them assets.

Taylor Pyatt hahahaha. Being a Sabres fan I would personally like to thank the Canucks for taking him i'm sure he is going to be a huge contributer of getting you guys back in the playoffs.

Are you nuts???

This is a team that couldn't even make the playoffs with one of the best offenses and best rosters in the NFL. Who cares WHO plays on which line, this team is one of the biggest bunch of losers in NHL history.

My prediction for the coming season: THIS WILL NOT CHANGE! (it NEVER does!)

My advice to you: Pick a REAL team and actually ENJOY the hockey season.

Signed: A totally and finally disgusted and fed-up, Ex-Canuck fan!

Trevor Linden. He's going all the way up from the fourth line to the first line and will score more points (56) and have more minutes.
