I think it is a very real possibility in the next 100 years, but not anytime soon. So long as the "system" of things is still run by the 1% that hold the powerful positions in the U.S., we will see a half-white man, or quite possibly even a man of another race (but American born) as President before they allow a woman in that position of power.

I mean, think about it ... even through this presidency, all the males have had All-American type names when holding office (names like John, George, William); no name that is unusual or complicated will be elected into office.

Something to think about.

women persons are political leaders all global...very effectively. The question is, will u . s . of america take a lady president heavily? regrettably, i imagine the answer is not any. regardless of her adventure or understanding (and that i do not unavoidably recommend Clinton now...), i do not trust that the U. S. is able to vote for or help a lady in the oval workplace. So, in the top, what does that say about the splendid united states of america in the international? a lot for 'the appropriate individual for the pastime'.

Yes the Bush twins are running in 2024 after they turn 35 years of age.

They will be the first woman president. The combination of being twins, and 1/2 witts allows them to run as one person.

Nope.

'It is a depressingly masculine world we live in' and they damn well want to keep it that way... Deloras Clairborne movie.

The USA is ranked #22 of all industrialized nations on equal rights for women. We still have way too many male bigots that literally make it person. These men actually are 'insulted' that a woman would even want or try to be president.

I think that their will be one someday, but not real soon. Condoleeza Rice would have a better chance than Hillary Clinton. She would get womens votes as well as minority votes. I would probably vote for her.

I'd guess that we will have a woman president at some point.
